Today Patrick sits down with comedian Nick White to build the playlist of his life.
Nick White was studying for a master’s degree in architecture in his native Australia when he had the realization that he wanted to do comedy. He had started doing stand up and had done well in some stand up competitions, but he had already invested a lot of time and money into studying architecture. So he finished his masters and then went to work in the architecture world. But comedy kept calling to him.
In addition to performing stand up live he also started making character based videos on Instagram and TikTok. Eventually he got the courage to follow his heart and he quit his job to do comedy full time. Now he has hundreds of thousands of followers on social media and sold out comedy shows from Sydney to London. He is also a huge music fan, so we talked about his musical obsessions, the song that reminds him of his first break up, and the song he doesn’t like that much so he listened to while having panic attacks.
