Jurors in Lindsay Clancy's murder trial enter a third day of deliberations Monday after roughly ten hours over two days without a verdict. Nine women and three men are weighing first-degree murder, second-degree murder, manslaughter, or a finding of not guilty by lack of criminal responsibility, following five weeks of testimony from more than eighty witnesses. On Friday the jury asked to review Clancy's prescription bottles and the knife from her suicide attempt — the medication question the defense built its case on. Clancy, 36, does not deny strangling Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, at their Duxbury home in January 2023, and argues she was in postpartum psychosis. Also: closing arguments are scheduled Monday in Las Vegas in the Duane Davis murder trial, after a retired homicide detective testified for the defense that he wanted to seek an arrest warrant in 2009 and was told to stand down. Davis did not testify. And in Jacksonville, Judge London Kite granted an unopposed continuance moving Shanna Gardner's trial to May 2027, days after her husband's conviction in the killing of Jared Bridegan.
