A Las Vegas jury convicted Duane "Keffe D" Davis of first-degree murder Monday in the 1996 killing of Tupac Shakur, deliberating about three hours after nine days of testimony. Davis, 63, is the only person ever charged and the only surviving occupant of the Cadillac from which the shots were fired. Prosecutors never alleged he pulled the trigger, arguing he obtained the gun and orchestrated the shooting as retaliation for a casino-lobby beating of his nephew hours earlier — and built the case largely on Davis's own police interviews, docuseries appearances and 2019 memoir. He did not testify. Shakur's sister wept in the gallery; family members embraced prosecutors. Davis told Judge Carli Kierny he intends to appeal. He faces up to life in prison. Also: jurors in Lindsay Clancy's murder trial enter a fourth day after roughly seventeen hours without a verdict, weighing five options after asking Friday to review her prescription bottles and the knife from her suicide attempt. And in Georgia, prosecutors rested against Katelyn Goble in the 2016 killing of 19-year-old Morgan Bauer.
