How do we trust God when life doesn't go the way we expect?
In this message, Ethan Rattie and David Carter explore the extraordinary story of Joseph and what it teaches us about trusting God through both the highs and lows of life.
Following four defining moments in Joseph's journey — the Pit, the Prison, the Palace and the Prize — we see Joseph experience betrayal, injustice, hardship, promotion and ultimately restoration. Yet throughout his changing circumstances, God remained with him and continued to work out His purposes.
Joseph's story reminds us that difficult seasons do not mean that God has abandoned us. Even when we cannot see what He is doing, God can be at work through our circumstances, preparing us and using our lives for purposes far greater than we realise.
Whether we're currently experiencing a high or a low, we can choose to trust the God who sees the whole story.
