Shahzad Younas is the founder and CEO of Muzz, the world's largest Muslim marriage app.
A former VP at Morgan Stanley, he walked away from nine years in investment banking, taught himself to code, and launched the app from his bedroom in 2015.
Today Muzz has more than 20 million members, a team of 160, and is closing in on a million people who've met their partner on the app.
In this episode, he breaks down turning down Match Group's acquisition offer, the lawsuit that forced a rebrand, and why he's raised just $9 million in over a decade.
