After George Reeves, television’s original Superman, died in his Benedict Canyon home in 1959, the official ruling was suicide. But questions, rumours and old Hollywood whispers followed the case for decades, and later tenants claimed the house itself was haunted by strange noises, moving objects and even an apparition of Reeves dressed as Superman.
