Some people you meet over and over again, do you know what I mean? They might show up in different shapes/forms, but the inner core, that light that shines through their eyes (the spark) is constant. Scotland-based author Scott Richardson-Read, you are one of them. I cannot remember which witchcraft book I borrowed from you when we shared the party flat down in Leith, Edinburgh, but the fact that our paths crossed again years later did not surprise me. After all, weaving connections between people, stories, and traditions seems to be one of your specialities. Scott’s latest book, Mill Dust and Dreaming Bread, explores Scottish folk belief and folk magic. It accentuates the rich traditions and magical practices of Scotland’s folk heritage.
