Two years ago, I recorded and released the first three episodes of Ebbs & Flows with Erin - a series sharing my experience with Effexor, an antidepressant I had been off of for three months at the time, after being on it for 6.5 years to manage an anxiety disorder and depression. What started as a conversation about my experience coming off medication became the beginning of a podcast that has continued to evolve alongside me.
In this episode, I’m reflecting on two years of podcasting and the lessons this season of life has been teaching me about change, detachment, the duality of being human, and trusting that we don’t always need to know what comes next. My Effexor series continues to reach people navigating antidepressants and withdrawal, so I’m also returning to where this podcast began and sharing what it feels like to look back from the other side. Because sometimes, our biggest struggles lead us toward the people, passions, purpose, and parts of ourselves we never would have found otherwise.
Thank you for being here, I have loved connecting through this platform & look forward to more. Xo, Erin
