Some runners are fast.

Some runners win races.

And then there are runners like Kevin King, who simply make the running community a better place.

Kevin is one of my favorite people to see out on the roads in Falmouth. If you've ever crossed paths with him, you've probably noticed his contagious smile, positive attitude, and ability to brighten everyone's day. He's proof that running isn't just about pace or finish times, it's about community, joy, and showing up.

The most incredible part of Kevin's story? He didn't start running until he was 70 years old.

In this episode, we talk about:

  • Kevin's journey into running
  • Why it's never too late to start
  • The Falmouth running community
  • Finding joy in movement
  • Staying active later in life
  • Why attitude matters more than pace
  • Encouraging new runners to take that first step

Whether you've been running for decades or are thinking about lacing up your shoes for the very first time, Kevin's story is a reminder that there is no "right" time to begin.

Sometimes all it takes is one step... and a smile.
