In this episode, I sit down with Marina Weiler, a neuroscientist and consciousness researcher from the University of Virginia's Division of Perceptual Studies (DOPS), to discuss her work on anomalous experiences and consciousness phenomena.
We explore her study of out-of-body and near-death experiences, as well as her research into the telepathic capabilities of non-speaking autists.
Weiler describes several instances in her work that challenge the reflexive rejection of such phenomena by mainstream science, including veridical reports from experiencers.
