A lot of Christian women were taught plenty about modesty, but very little about how to steward beauty in a healthy, biblical way. So we end up with a complicated relationship with the mirror. We want to look nice, but worry someone will judge us. We want to feel confident, but wonder if confidence will be misunderstood as pride.
In this episode, we’re asking a question many women quietly carry: What does God actually say about beauty?
This conversation is for the woman who has deflected compliments, avoided pictures, judged herself harshly in the mirror, or felt guilty for wanting to feel beautiful again. If you have ever wondered whether beauty belongs in the life of a woman who loves God, this episode will help you see beauty through a more biblical, grace-filled lens.
We’ll talk about why beauty is not the same thing as vanity, how God created beauty, how good things can become twisted, and why your beauty was meant to shine rather than perform.
