1984 was a different time. Sadly, what happened in July of that year at the San Ysidro McDonald's was a preview of things to come. James Huberty lived his life in anger, blaming immigrants, his family and anyone else he felt had wrong him for his failures. His life was falling apart. He made a call to a mental health clinic and was told someone would call him back within the hour. The call never came. The next day, James Huberty walked into McDonald's and took over 20 lives. On this episode we remember the victims and ask the tough questions. Why does this keep happening and what can we do to prevent it in the future?
