Welcome back for another episode of the Booked on Fantasy Podcast! Threshing Day by Rebecca Yarros has finally released and we are here to break down each story for you.
Today it’s Sloane’s turn, and this one had us reaching for the kleenex Sloane is not in a good place mentally, and she goes into Threshing Day hoping she won’t survive, consumed by anger and grief over the loss of her brother. We also get a tantalizing scene between her and Dain when he saves her from being roasted by an orange dragon, and with it the origin of “EYES HERE” Daddy Dain. Then comes the emotional punch: we learn that Thoirt is Deigh’s sister dragon, just like Sloane is Liam’s sister. We’re not crying, you’re crying. We broke it down line by line and offered up many theories, but even more questions. All that and more in today’s episode.
Each of the 13 POVs will be covered in an individual mini episode where we will discuss our overarching thoughts and any key details surrounding events, characters, or cross series easter eggs from Fourth Wing, Iron Flame and Onyx Storm.
