Welcome back for another episode of the Booked on Fantasy Podcast! Threshing Day by Rebecca Yarros has finally released and we are here to break down each story for you.
Today it’s Liam’s turn, as we go back to his Threshing Day. Xaden makes an appearance, and Liam is one of the few people in the world who can give him a hard time, which he does about Violet. F*cking. Sorrengail (Ya love to see it)! We also see Liam whittling a figurine of Deigh (awwww), and his overwhelming joy when Deigh appears. The two agree to bond so they can take on the evil of the continent together. Revisiting this chapter is devastating knowing Liam and Deigh’s fate at the end of Fourth Wing, and Rebecca Yarros absolutely gut punches us with the final lines. We broke it down line by line and offered up many theories, but even more questions. All that and more in today’s episode.
Each of the 13 POVs will be covered in an individual mini episode where we will discuss our overarching thoughts and any key details surrounding events, characters, or cross series easter eggs from Fourth Wing, Iron Flame and Onyx Storm.
