#130 - Hal Elrod - He Died For Six Minutes And Woke Up With A Better Way To Live

Dela

Hal Elrod is the creator of The Miracle Morning and the SAVERS routine, a keynote speaker, and the subject of The Miracle Morning movie. At 20 he was hit head-on by a drunk driver, died for six minutes, broke eleven bones, and was told he would never walk again. Years later he survived a rare and aggressive cancer. He is still here, and he is at peace.

Hal Elrod believes happiness is a fleeting emotional state, but peace is an ever-present one you can choose. In this conversation, we explore the five minute rule that let him accept the unimaginable, why he asked the judge for a shorter sentence for the drunk driver who nearly killed him, the Jim Rohn quote that turned a financial collapse into the first Miracle Morning, the seventh S that has to break before the other six can begin, how he gave his cancer a one hundred percent survival rate, and why the best moment of your life is always this one. It is a conversation about what radical acceptance actually costs, and what it gives back.
