Bronagh is hungover. England are out. Hanna has arrived wearing the most incredible sequin kimono and is about to save Bronagh's entire Camp Bestival experience. This is exactly the episode we needed.
This week Cara and Bronagh are joined by Hanna from The Savvy Mummy — mum of three, festival veteran of eight years and the person who knows absolutely everything there is to know about taking your family to a festival and actually enjoying it. Hanna has been going to Camp Bestival since her eldest was tiny, camped in her garden during lockdown when they sent DVDs out instead, and is now on to a new favourite called Stowaway where everything is included. She knows her stuff and she is not holding back.
Bronagh is heading to Camp Bestival for the first time and has approximately one million questions — from wagons and fancy dress to posh toilets, skull caps and whether she needs to book the yoga in advance. Hanna answers all of it with the patience of a woman who has done this many, many times. There's also a beautiful moment where they discover they both used to work on the Chanel counter at Bluewater, a very moving wardrobe story in honour of Hanna's late dad, and the most relatable pencil skirt disaster story you'll hear all year.
Oh, and Bronagh buys the skull cap on the pod. Obviously.
