Steve White's story is one of resilience, purpose, and what it means to fight your way back when life has stripped away the person you thought you were. After a devastating concussion at 17, followed by additional head injuries, cognitive decline, chronic health challenges, addiction, and periods of profound hopelessness, Steve reached a point where simply continuing became a choice. Today, Steve shares how rebuilding his life began by stripping everything back to the fundamentals: showing up, finding something worth fighting for, accepting help, serving others, and learning to believe that change was still possible. This episode explores why health and healing shouldn't be individual pursuits, how purpose can create gratitude, why cynicism can keep us trapped, the importance of community and a beginner's mindset, and how forgiving yourself can become an essential part of moving forward. Steve also shares the philosophy behind "Hold the Keep"—identifying what matters enough to keep fighting for—and how those lessons ultimately inspired his work helping others build stronger support systems (and how you can too).

"We all get knocked down. We all have problems. And all the judgment, all the things that people say… but I got up." — Steve White
