Rogan's Guest Deleted Bible Verses? | NDS

Joe Rogan's guest Dan McClellan says about 16 New Testament passages were "added later on," and that scholars "not really" debate taking them out. Is your Bible missing verses, and does it matter? Ed Mabrie of FaithByReason.net is back for Fridays Are For The Lord with TopLobsta and David Lee Corbo "The Raven." Recorded live on YouTube, Friday, October 9, 2026.

The guys play McClellan's clips from The Joe Rogan Experience #2562 on Matthew 17:21 ("this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting") and Codex Sinaiticus, and Ed explains why God built the Bible like a hologram: take a piece out and you lose resolution, not the picture. Then McClellan's take on hell, annihilation and "temporary torment," and why Ed says you are an eternal being whether you like it or not.

WHAT WE COVER
• Matthew 17:21, Codex Sinaiticus and the long ending of Mark (Mark 16:9-20)
• Hostile jamming: why the gospel is spread through the whole Bible
• What's McClellan's angle, and why "the Bible isn't meant to be understood" is a red flag
• Hell: annihilation, purgatory, Gehenna, Matthew 10:28 and the rich man and Lazarus
• Rogan's question: is it fair for God to send a "good person" to hell?
• Taking away vs. adding to the Bible, and how to test what's been added
• The seed war, Genesis 3:15, the forbidden fruit and Nephilim bloodlines
• Free will and foreknowledge: Abraham, Hezekiah, Moses and "now I know"
• A chat question: did Jesus take away Peter's free will?

Is the King James missing verses, or did modern Bibles drop them? Tell us in the comments.
