Most of us spend more than half of our lives trying to accumulate wealth, and then the last half we try to save what we have either to ensure we won’t run out or to leave all that earned income to our children. And while it still remains controversial, the push to “die with zero” money in your account is gaining steam, but experts say it’s harder than you may think. The concept is ideal: after working hard your entire life, you retire, and then you spend and enjoy that money until you last check bounces on the day you die. The problem, most people are too afraid of running out of money, they keep hoarding it and deny themselves the upgrades, travel experiences and ultimately, “under-living” their golden years.
