ARREST MADE (And More Expected) In Hanging Death Of Black Woman In Mississippi

One month after 29 year old Tasia Fortune was found hanging from a tree in Jackson Mississippi, police arrested a man they say is responsible for Fortune’s death and say more arrests are expected.  It wasn’t until late last week that the state medical examiner finally ruled Fortune’s death a homicide, her family had insisted from the very beginning the young mother of four would never take her own life, especially in that manner.  51 year old Jacques Ratliff is expected in court on Monday, where we hope to get more answers into the horrific death that has garnered international headlines.
