This week we are discussing Resistance: Fall of Man, a PlayStation 3 game released in 2006 that helped launch Sony's new console by throwing players into an alternate-history version of the 1950s, where humanity is fighting for survival against the terrifying Chimera. Combining intense first-person shooting, imaginative weapons, and massive battles, Resistance: Fall of Man delivered a gritty sci-fi campaign that showcased the PS3's power while laying the foundation for one of the console's earliest exclusive franchises.
