In honor of September 11th, we are joined by Nationally Certified School Psychologist, Dr. Kirby L. Wycoff from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia to discuss when and how we can talk to our children about tragic events. Dr. Wycoff is a leader in the mental health field and her work focuses on trauma, adversity, and policy within a public health framework. She regularly publishes on psychology, public health and trauma in peer-reviewed academic journals. A mom herself to a baby girl, she brings professional and personal insight to the show.
