In his letters, speeches, and lectures, Bonhoeffer criticizes both conservatives and liberals. He has a problem with the binary approach to Christian faith that creates tension between the spiritual and the secular. Instead, Bonhoeffer wants the Christian community to discover Christ at the center of human life and culture, freeing the world from ideology AND mythology to exist as God's good creation.
