What happens when you follow an idea that nobody else understands yet?
In this episode of Flip the Script with Vic, Victoria Nielsen sits down with Kelly Ann Collins, founder of Unstoppable Future Corporation, to talk about what it looks like to trust your vision when everyone around you thinks you're crazy.
Kelly has spent her career being early — from working in digital media during the transition from print to the internet, to becoming one of the first bloggers, to launching an AI company before most people even understood what AI was. Today, she's focused on helping women and nonprofits access opportunities in technology, blockchain, Bitcoin, and social impact.
Together, Victoria and Kelly unpack why women need to understand Bitcoin and blockchain, why the crypto and tech spaces remain so male-dominated, and why Kelly believes we're still early when it comes to the future of money and technology.
They also talk about the less glamorous side of following your calling: shutting down a successful business, starting over, hearing “no” over and over again, questioning whether you made the right decision, and learning how to keep going without tying your self-worth to the results.
In this conversation, you'll hear about:
✨ Why women should be paying attention to Bitcoin and blockchain
✨ What blockchain and Bitcoin actually are (without the tech-bro jargon)
✨ Why the crypto industry still needs more women
✨ The opportunities women may be missing by staying on the sidelines
✨ What it feels like to be “too early” to an emerging technology
✨ Why Kelly shut down a successful agency to follow a deeper calling
✨ The reality of starting a nonprofit from zero
✨ How to keep going when people don't understand what you're building
✨ Why “rest, don't quit” might be the entrepreneurial advice you need
✨ What it means to follow your heart when everyone else thinks you're crazy
If you've ever had an idea, business, or calling that other people just didn't understand, this one's for you.
