“World War I American Cemetery in Belgium”
Is an original poem by Emiliano Martín,
inspired by a visit to that place during a vacation trip, early in September of 2026.
The verses reference the hundreds of soldiers’ tombs in this historic place, where red poppies are still seen across the grounds in Flanders Fields.
It is a place to visit and honor the fallen soldiers.
