“Defiance and Reality“ is an original poem by Emiliano Martín. Written circa 1989, it describes what happened in Tiananmen Square of Beijing, China, during the student revolt of 1989.
The verses make reference to that historical day in which the world witnessed something heroic and dramatic, even if you prefer to call it stupid… You are entitled as well.
