122. No ICE In The Cup

We're joined by Julia Roig, co-founder of the Horizons Project, to discuss the role of United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents at the 2026 World Cup and how their involvement is in direct contradiction to the culture of football.

Julia and her colleagues launched No ICE In The Cup earlier in 2026. This campaign aims to challenge the presence of ICE in World Cup spaces and build a stronger political culture in the United States centred around human rights, trade unionism and social justice.
