They discuss how misunderstood prayer can be and explore the richness of it as a practise and and a way of life. They think of it as an exercise for transforming our thinking rather than twisting the arm of the divine.
And they recognise it as a statement of commitment, the clue always being in the Amen. This was an eye opening conversation and a realisation of what can shift when we are really paying attention.
