Every January, artists promise themselves this is the year they finally show up consistently in the studio. By February, the sketchbook's still blank. Jodie has a different theory: fall, not January, is the real reset, because it doesn't ask us to rely on willpower the way New Year's resolutions do.
In this episode, Jodie walks through why the September feeling never actually leaves us, even once nobody's handing us a new school year anymore. She shares the three questions she asks herself every fall (who do you want to be, what do you want to learn, what scares you most), introduces her Dululu Wednesdays challenge, and breaks down exactly how to back into a holiday collection release before the season gets away from you.
She also shares something personal: this is the last episode of Season 7, and she's got news about what's coming in Season 8, including a new version of ArtBiz for Rebels that was built to give artists their time back!! See yall in November!!!!
In this episode:
Why fall doesn't require the willpower January does
The three questions to ask yourself this season
How to back into a holiday collection release date
