We continue NEW STUFF SHOWCASE with yet another breakout horror that made box office bank and it’s directed by a surprisingly young breakout director, Kane Parsons. We’re talking BACKROOMS which we saw in the theater but, admittedly, we knew nothing about the YouTube series that it came out of or the creepypasta lore that inspired that. How do you even find anything good with Creepypasta? There’s so much slop. Anyway, there’s a lot to compliment in young Kane Parsons debut feature film and some performances worth checking out. What would your backrooms look like? What would you leave behind and who else would you find? If we find your mother in there then we’re hooking up. I just want to be up front about that right now.
