A DART FROG’S COLOURS

James 1:14-15 (KJV)

But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

In the animal kingdom, the dart frog moves low across the floors of lush forests and jungles, yet stands tall among the most fascinating creatures in the world. You see, this frog possesses colourful skin, a brilliant coat meant to warn predators. Should a predator try to harm it, they’ll feel the effects of the powerful toxins that its skin carries.

The enemy doesn’t always announce himself openly or obviously. But just as the dart frog carries within it a defence that makes predators think twice, God has given you His Word as your protection. Strengthen your resolve and ability to withstand the devil’s advances by fortifying yourself in God’s Word daily. Don’t fall for the devil’s trickery; you’ve been given power to withstand and neutralise his attacks.

PRAYER FOR TODAY

Thank You, Lord, for equipping me with Your Word. By my knowledge of the Scriptures, I can never be blindsided by the enemy.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

I am not ignorant of the devil’s devices. No matter the form of the enemy’s trickery, my life is fortified in the Word of God; the devil’s attacks have no effect on me!
