Known for her expressive, jazz-influenced guitar playing, as well as extensive touring with artists like ZAYN and Jason Mraz, Molly Miller prefers a multi-faceted approach to her music career. When not out on the road, you’ll catch her performing regularly with her group, The Molly Miller Trio, or teaching students at University of Southern California, where she holds a Doctorate in Musical Arts. Above all else, it’s balance that keeps Molly moving—lengthy tour runs are broken up with friendly tennis matches at her favorite spots in Los Angeles, where she currently resides.
After performing a last-minute live set to a packed house at 1642 in LA, Molly sat down with Marilyn for a conversation about touring, that infamous “CAGED” video, and her best advice for getting started as a novice guitar player.
