Today on the Musicians Mentor podcast I speak with American musician/audio engineer and studio owner - Joseph Berg.
Joseph Berg is a musician/audio engineer/songwriter and studio owner originally from the Twin Cities area of Minnesota but now based out of Wisconsin, who has worked on numerous Emmy Nominated Film & TV projects - including HBO’s Stax: Soulsville USA which also won the 85th annual Peabody Award for best documentary.
As a mastering engineer Joseph has worked with an array of critically-acclaimed musicians and engineers, including Grammy Award winning engineer Mack Major (Pj Morton, Tank and the Bangas, The Revivalists) Mike Napolitano, platinum-selling musician and producer Jimbo Mathis (Squirrel Nut Zippers) and legendary Blues harp player Charlie Musselwhite (Tom Waits, Muddy Watters, Eddie Vedder).
During our interview we talk about the pros and cons of busking (which is actually how we met), chasing ones muse, bands, engineering and a host of other topics.
