This is the first episode of a two part series that moves quickly to the end of the Viking age. The center of our story is on the conflict between two groups of fierce warriors, the Danes and the Anglo-Saxons, over control of the island of Britain.
In our first episode we are going to look at how the established Viking culture changed and shifted due to its interaction with a new force on the world stage, Christianity. In the process the groundwork was laid for a new Empire that turned its eyes south to try and conquer a very lucrative target, Saxon England.
