Something strange is happening in America. I'm actually starting to agree with Bill Maher. Communism gave the world bread lines, gulags, and the deaths of millions, and yet it's becoming attractive to young people all over again. Before we roll our eyes and say these kids just don't know history, I want to ask a better question: why are they still reaching for it? In this episode I dig into what young people are really longing for, why the promises of socialism sound so compassionate, and why Christianity offers something far better than either greedy capitalism or government confiscation.
Here's the heart of it: communism tries to build a better society by redistributing possessions, but God builds a better people by transforming hearts.
