Ep.199: "What Do You Mean You Haven't Heard... Kraftwerk and Deadmau5"

Welcome back to another episode of Trve. Cvlt. Pop! it's all about music basically.

On this week's show Merlin Alderslade joins us once again, to give, and be given, a little education on an artist that he loves, and one he has never heard before, in what might be a new podcast idea. Merl gives Steve the 2006 album Random Album Title by Canadian house producer Deadmau5, whilst Steve responds by giving Merl his first listen to German electro pioneers Kraftwerk's underrated 1986 album Techno Pop (or Electric Cafe if you're going to go with its original title.) In the process they find plenty of similarities, and muse on the evolution of electronic music as well.

There's also reviews of new music from Emma Ruth Rundle, No Cure, Foaming Mouth, Dexy's Midnight Runners, Diljit Donsanjh and Mykki Blanco.
