Timmy Gibson didn't just attend church for forty-eight years. He ran one. He led worship teams, traveled as a healing evangelist, and served on staff at a megachurch. Then he walked away and became an atheist. On Homicide Happy Hour, he brought that history to the Caleb Flynn case, and the first thing he said is that what Flynn was doing on the worship team happened at every church Gibson ever served. Flynn was convicted on all nine counts in the murder of his wife Ashley in Tipp City, Ohio. He'd been carrying on with a fellow worship team member while leading services. Gibson personally knew Ted Haggard before the scandal broke, ate breakfast with him, and felt something was wrong without knowing what. Psychotherapist Shavaun Scott gave Gibson a framework for why his own morality improved after he left the church.
