Other Mommy spoilers ahead - the movie breakdown, the big family secret, and the hateful parenting message.
Cupcake (Jose) and WillDaBeast spoil the shizz-azz out of Rob Savage's new horror movies starring Jessica Chastain, Jay Duplass, and Karen Allen. Were you fooled by the trailers thinking this was a possession or straight horror film? So were the hosts. But listen to them debate the merits of this dark fairy tale - Poltergeist riff and why the screenplay might be smarter than your average, run of the mill horror film. They also discuss whether this is really Chastain's worst performance ever.
If you loved the haunted house dread of Insidious and the dark fairy tale feel of Mama and Coraline, Other Mommy is right up your alley.
