If you’ve been tuning in to this podcast
you may have heard me say that the mind changes the body and the body changes
the mind. The body doesn’t know the difference between past, present and future
or memory, imagination, and reality, to the body it is the same.
The body and the brain is in constant
communication, so we begin to feel the way we think and then think the way we
feel.
We often compound feelings and emotions,
and we may keep dwelling on some past experience for instance and reliving
those familiar feelings day in and day out.
When we do this over and over again, we
create subconscious programs within us that are automatic behaviors, unconscious
attitudes, beliefs, perceptions, patterns, skills, conditioned responses,
emotional reactions and more.
These programs are running us because the
body has become the mind and many times the body remembers better than the
conscious mind does.
