Hosting a party this week meant I needed to do a lot of cleaning and housework. Instead of getting started, I spent 2 days eating more chocolate than I have in ages and playing video games on my phone. It reminded me so clearly of how things used to feel when I did that all the time. In this episode, I talk about spotting our patterns, becoming more aware of our needs, emotional and physical cues, and reducing the number of times we end up in situations where using food to medicate emotions feels almost unavoidable.
