Starting something new can feel overwhelming. Whether it's a new job, a new season, or a new responsibility, there's always a learning curve. That's why it's encouraging to see that Jesus didn't expect His followers to have everything figured out before sending them out.
When Jesus commissioned the 72 disciples, He sent them with a simple but powerful mission: bring God's peace wherever they went. They would face both welcome and rejection, but they were never sent alone. Their confidence wasn't in themselves but in God's presence. It's a timely reminder that as we share God's love with others, we're called to carry peace, not pressure.
