Most of us know what it feels like to look at a challenge and think, "There's no way I can do this." That's exactly where Gideon found himself. Feeling small, overlooked, and unqualified, he couldn't imagine being the person God would use to rescue Israel. Yet God saw something in Gideon that he couldn't see in himself. Through impossible odds and repeated reassurances, God showed that victory was never about Gideon's strength. It was about God's faithfulness.
If you've been feeling outmatched or inadequate lately, Gideon's story is a beautiful reminder that God specializes in working through ordinary people.
