A Ranger’s Reflections, Part 2: The Bloody Battle of Bunker Hill

Dela

The American Revolution continues with Part 2 of our conversation with Ranger Rick Lawson. Rick recounts the pivotal Battle of Bunker Hill, fought outside Boston on June 17, 1775. Although the battle ended in a British victory, it demonstrated the determination and resilience of the Patriot forces while foreshadowing the tremendous human and financial costs of the Revolutionary War. Rick also shares insights from his years as an interpretive ranger at Boston National Historical Park, including his experience interpreting the history of the Bunker Hill Monument.
