What happens when we become conscious of the ego and the patterns it creates? Can we learn to recognize these patterns without identifying with them?
In this episode, Senior Hridaya Yoga Teacher Claud Vaduva invites us to explore the nature of the ego and its role in our human experience. By becoming aware of how the ego operates, we can begin to see its patterns and strategies more clearly, rather than mistaking them for who we truly are.
Claud explores the ego as a survival instinct—something that belongs to our human experience, but is not the essence of who we are. Beyond the ego and its many layers is the Self, revealed through the Heart: that which cannot be destroyed and needs no strategies or actions to protect itself.
Through Self-Inquiry and Hridaya Meditation, we can learn to recognize and cultivate an awareness of the “I AM” beyond the ego and discover a different way of relating to our thoughts, patterns, and experiences from the freedom of our being.
This episode invites us to look within, recognize the ego for what it is, and open ourselves more fully to living from the Heart.
