The Indianapolis and Fort Wayne metro areas are among the nation's top regions positioned to attract future aerospace and defense investment, according to a new report. Churchill Downs is exploring the possible sale of nine regional gaming properties, including Terre Haute Casino Resort. Two new downtown Logansport facilities are now open as part of a $6 million effort to spur entrepreneurship and attract more visitors to the city. Indianapolis-based Roche Diagnostics North America and Ivy Tech Community College have launched a partnership to help address Indiana's shortage of medical laboratory professionals through scholarships, career awareness and a proposed paid fellowship program. Plus, the Elkhart County Convention and Visitors Bureau has earned re-accreditation through the Destination Marketing Accreditation Program, maintaining a distinction it first received five years ago.
