Deep in the Sulphur River bottoms of southwest Arkansas, the little town of Fouke shares its backyard with the Beast of Boggy Creek — the three-toed, red-eyed swamp Bigfoot that terrorized the Ford family in 1971, inspired the cult classic film The Legend of Boggy Creek, and still gets called in to the county sheriff to this day.
