This prayer is part of Divine Office’s nine-day novena, “Twenty Years of Light,” praying our way toward our 20th anniversary on the Feast of the Transfiguration. From July 29 to August 6, we hold up a different part of our prayer community each day.

Today: ♰For those who pray alone

Lord, be near to everyone who prays these Hours in an empty room, with no one beside them. Let them know that at this very hour, across every time zone, someone else is praying these same words. Draw close to those who pray alone, and let them never feel unheard.
