No algorithm deciding who sees you, no getting logged out, no platform disappearing overnight. I also get into how simple the setup really is (one good freebie and one email service provider is the whole thing), why a list you email once a month still makes you money, and the mistake I've watched happen to my own students where their platform takes off and there was nowhere for all those new people to go. I made list growth a priority over five years ago and it's now more than 20,000 active subscribers growing by 500+ every month, and it has become the most dependable revenue layer in my whole business.
