Brooks Bash got injured at mile 6 of a 300 mile race. It sounded ridiculous, but then he mentioned he just ran 100 marathons in 100 days in the months prior.
It puts the injury in perspective, but it also begs the question: what's the point of all this? Isn't this whole ultra world just spinning out of control?
I'm curious to hear with your thoughts on the topic. Drop them in the comments.
How Brooks still managed to finish this race, what learned from running 100 marathons in 100 days, and his motivation for getting into these crazy challenges is what we focus on in this one.
