Meg enrolled in Center for Pediatric Sleep Management because she wanted to be a better postpartum doula. Sleep was coming up constantly with the families she was supporting, and she wanted to feel equipped to answer their questions and get them longer stretches of sleep.
Families are hiring Meg because of this specialized skillset. She is setting herself apart from others in the field.
Meg knew that becoming a sleep consultant would be great for her postpartum clients. What she didn't expect was how big a part of her business sleep would become. Meg is now working with families well beyond the newborn stage, supporting sleep clients both virtually and in person. As she looks ahead to 2027, she's planning to scale back some of her overnights and lean even more into sleep.
In this episode of the Becoming a Sleep Consultant podcast, Meg and I talk about how sleep consulting has helped her stand out as a doula, what it looks like for her to juggle in person and virtual support, and why she is leaning into sleep consulting as she continues to grow her business.
